Business Strategies in the Age of Geopolitical Risk and Sustainability

~ Rethinking Strategy and Collaboration with Japanese Enterprises ~

Exploring Strategic Responses to Geopolitical and Environmental Disruption

In recent years, geopolitical risks and the growing imperative for sustainability have emerged as critical themes for companies operating across Asia. Shifts in the international landscape and the global push toward decarbonization are significantly shaping corporate strategies.

This seminar is designed for senior executives from leading Japanese and Thai companies to explore a pressing strategic question:
“How should businesses respond to shifting geopolitical dynamics, accelerating digital transformation, and the rapidly evolving demands of decarbonization?”

Featuring expert insights from JETRO, IGPI, GLOBIS, and Speeda—organizations with deep experience in observing Japanese corporate activity in Southeast Asia—alongside perspectives from prominent Thai organizations such as EEC and Gulf Energy Development, we will provide a clear and practical overview of recent trends, future outlooks, and actionable strategies in the context of geopolitical dynamics and sustainability challenges.

The program will conclude with a panel discussion examining how businesses in both Japan and Thailand can navigate the evolving business environment.

Following the main sessions, a networking opportunity will be provided to facilitate direct exchange between Japanese and Thai business leaders.

This event will offer valuable insights and ideas for those involved in corporate strategy and management. We warmly invite you to join us.

Recommended for

  • Managing Directors and Managers expanding across Asia

  • Professionals involved in strategic planning or policy development related to geopolitical risks and sustainability

  • Those interested in understanding how Japanese companies are viewed by Thai conglomerates
