Japan – SEA Strategic Capital Connect
| Introduction
Japan–SEA Strategic Capital Connect brings together Singapore- and Southeast Asia–based PE/VC and investment professionals with Japanese corporate leaders actively exploring strategic investment, partnership and growth opportunities in the region.
Held during SWITCH(Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology) , when many Japanese corporate leaders are in Singapore, the event makes these connections easier to build in person.
Southeast Asia has become one of the attractive regions for Japanese capital. Japanese corporates are increasingly investing directly in the region’s growth companies through CVCs, strategic investment teams and M&A teams.
For Singapore- and SEA-based investors, this means access to partners who bring more than capital: industry expertise, access to the Japanese market and long-term strategic alignment.
Yet the two communities still rarely sit in the same room. This event is a chance to meet face to face and explore future co-investment and partnership opportunities.
Join SVCA and Speeda for an off-stage conversation on investment trends across Japan and Southeast Asia, evolving corporate–investor collaboration, and the sectors attracting cross-border interest. The discussion will be followed by an extended networking reception with Japanese corporate attendees and fellow investors.
