Key Features of Speeda: Enhancing Strategy Consulting Effectiveness
How was the trial and onboarding process for Speeda?
Mr.Duc: For me, the onboarding process was very user-friendly and straightforward. My teammates also provided positive feedback, mentioning that Speeda’s user experience (UX) is intuitive and easy to navigate. The initial lectures and demonstrations helped us quickly understand how to use the platform effectively, which made the transition smooth.
What are the differences between the good and bad points of Speeda compared to other research platforms?
Mr.Duc: One of Speeda’s strengths is its user-friendly interface (UI), which makes it easy to navigate. Another key advantage is its ability to allow users to download entire data files, enabling us to analyze and process information effectively. Speeda also provides clear explanations of the data, such as whether financial results are consolidated. This level of detail is particularly important for strategy consultants like us because understanding the composition of revenue is critical.
The data in Speeda is based on information sourced from government-related entities such as tax offices, but it would be great if the update frequency were more frequent.
I do understand that we can contact the support desk and they will respond promptly. In any case, I believe the industry reports themselves are excellent, and since they provide a value chain analysis of the entire industry, it eliminates the need to browse multiple websites, which is a significant advantage.
Could you tell us how many people use Speeda and how often you use it?
Mr.Duc: Everyone on my team uses Speeda, except for my senior manager, as we handle the data collection for her. Since we share a single account, we frequently share data among ourselves. For my projects, which often require the most research, Speeda is an essential tool.
How do you use Speeda in your daily work?
Mr.Duc: It depends on the task, but I primarily use Speeda to collect financial data. The profit and loss (P&L) statement is the most important for us. My approach is top-down: I start by downloading the industry report from Speeda to get an overview of the industry. Then, I cross-check with other platforms for additional precision or data Speeda doesn’t provide.
For example, domestic platforms allow us to search for companies using tax codes, which Speeda doesn’t currently support. To save time, I use these other platforms alongside Speeda.
What functions or services do you particularly like in Speeda?
Mr.Duc: The ability to download data is a standout feature. Domestic platforms often don’t allow downloads or even copy & paste, even with a subscription. Speeda’s download functionality saves a lot of time, making it much more efficient for our work.
Expanding Speeda’s Role Across Teams for Greater Collaboration
How do you think Speeda can contribute to your business expansion in the future? If there’s anything you expect from our services going forward, please let us know.
Mr.Oda: Currently, we have 10 users. The need for market information and research is not limited to the Strategy Team but extends to other departments such as the DX (Digital Transformation) Team and the SAP Team. In particular, the DX Team handles numerous projects that utilize digital technologies such as RPA, OCR and AI to optimize clients’ business operations. As such, the latest IT trends and specialized reports are extremely important for us.
While pricing, service structures, and customer relationship support (CRS) tailored to regional circumstances are available, having a licensing system that is even more suited to the Vietnamese market would be greatly appreciated.
To utilize Speeda’s information more effectively, I believe sharing it not just within our team but across the entire company would further enhance operational efficiency.
Advice for New Users: Unlocking Speeda’s Potential in Vietnam
What advice would you give to those considering starting to use Speeda?
Mr.Duc: I would recommend Speeda, especially to Japanese consulting firms operating in Vietnam. Many consultants haven’t had the opportunity to use Speeda before, which may cause some hesitation in adopting a new platform. In Vietnam, there are several Japanese consulting firms, and given their working style, I believe Speeda can be a great fit as long as it is integrated properly from the beginning. It’s particularly useful for handling key tasks that require efficient data collection and analysis, which are central to consulting work.
